Cinsaut is a Rhone varietal and is generally low in tannin and classically used in blends for its aromas. For William Chris Vineyards, Cinsaut typically means rosé or it is a used as a blending grape, but the 2016 crop became rosé and a red wine! Coming from one of the best vineyards in Texas, Lost Draw Vineyards, we wanted to show-off its capabilities and characteristics, thus producing it as a single varietal wine.
Plush flavor of light red berries and fruits burst and appear all over. Drinkable spice intrigue of cardamom and peppercorn. Slight cigar box on the nose. Light, aromatic, and refreshing for a red. Drink now through 2020.
