Planning a trip out to the Hill Country? Reserve a William Chris Vineyards picnic lunch prepared by our culinary team to enjoy outdoors on our lawn where we have wine available for purchase and ample seating options. Each house-made lunch includes a gourmet sandwich, seasonal salad, fresh fruit, Rambler sparkling waters, and a little something sweet.
NOTE: Orders for picnic lunches must be placed at least 24 hours in advance of pick-up time. When reserving your pack, please select the day you wish to enjoy your picnic at Hye Estate.
For day-of food options, visit W.C. Provisions located on the property in the farmhouse. There you will find a variety of grab-n'go food options!

The moment you pull off Highway 290 onto the William Chris grounds, you can't help but be in awe of the natural beauty of the Texas Hill Country. From the simple charm of our original farmhouse to the modern tasting room surrounded by an active vineyard - all elements of our property are beautifully suited to their terroir and expressive of our reverence for the past and vision for the future.
Experience Note
Orders for picnic lunches must be placed at least 24 hour in advance of pick-up time. Sandwich options are Meat, Vegetarian, or Gluten-Free: (no bread, substitute GF chips for pasta salad). You will have the chance to make your selections when we contact you via email to confirm your order. Picnic Packs are $20 per person, and you are more than welcome to consume the picnic on the property, where we have wine available for purchase by the glass and bottle!

Pet Policy
Out of consideration for all of our guests, dog lovers as well as those who are not, we require your four-legged friends to remain outside and on a leash. No pets are allowed inside the tasting room without service animal designation/certification. We also kindly request you follow these guidelines when bringing pets to the vineyard:
- Dogs are to remain on a leash at all times.
- Please help us keep this property beautiful, clean up after your dog. Bags and receptacles are provided.
- Pet owners are responsible for their dog’s behavior - please remain attentive.
- Dogs MUST be up to date on all shots.
- Be mindful of your neighbors, and be courteous.
- Dogs who display any type of aggression are not allowed.

What to Expect
We offer live music on the weekends and snack plates to satisfy your appetite. We even provide cold water, fans, blankets, and outdoor heaters to keep you comfortable if you choose to take a seat outdoors no matter the season.
Note: All large group tastings are scheduled outdoors under the covered pavilion.
