Being produced every year since 2010, Hunter is a staple at William Chris and represents the commitment of 4 families to excellence in winegrowing. Named after the Hunter Vineyard that this wine is sourced from. It is one of the oldest vineyards in Terry County. This eastern Brownfield terroir is a deep Amarillo fine sandy loam, laid over a bed of clay with limestone underneath. After many years of creating this blend, the team has decided that 80 / 20 percentages is right about where the Hunter blend will remain at from here on out.

A medium-bodied burgundy tint with wild aromatics suggesting fresh herbs, berries, roasted nuts, & cured meats. Mulled cranberry with citrus, hints of rhubarb and black tea, finishing on creamy milk chocolate notes.   -Rae Wilson, Certified Sommelier and Owner/Consultant of Wine For the People
